Rents in Mississauga and across Canada decreased last month, with the average price for a one-bedroom apartment in Mississauga at $2,308, down 1.5% from September. Two-bedroom units also saw a decline, now averaging $2,740. Despite these drops, Mississauga remains the fourth most expensive city for rentals. Nationally, average rents fell by 1.2% year-over-year, marking the first annual decline since July 2021, primarily in major urban centers. This trend may continue as apartment completions reach record highs.
